ModMed is hiring a driven Part Time Accounting Clerk to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Accounting team. The position is responsible for performing various clerical and routine accounting tasks in support of an operating unit.

ModMed is hiring a driven Part Time Accounting Clerk to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Accounting team. The position is responsible for performing various clerical and routine accounting tasks in support of an operating unit.
Your Role
- Perform various clerical and routine accounting tasks in support of an operating unit.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and accounting policies and procedures.
- Experience with MS Office and proficient/advanced skills in Excel, detailed spreadsheets, and internet resources.
- Take initiative to create process workflow efficiencies and work on special projects.
- Perform other Accounting and Operational processing and administrative duties.
- Identify opportunities for process/system improvements and drive implementation of the solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum 2 years college in accounting or related field, preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an accounting environment.
- Accounting software experience preferred.
- Detail oriented, self-starter, proven ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to research and analyze data.
- Part time position (24 hours/week) based in our Boca Raton, FL location - hybrid.
