Basic Functions and Scope of Job:
The Senior Line Supervisor will support the Production Manager by overseeing teams and activities of the production area to ensure all personnel comply with safety, quality, training, and production procedures and operate efficiently to achieve production output goals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee processes to ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures and product Quality Management System requirements
· Oversee production team, acting as first-line supervisor regarding personnel issues, performance reviews, time-off requests, time card approvals, shift scheduling, policy violations, and corrective action
· Develop team to ensure proper staffing, training, safety, quality and upskilling
· Reports issues to Production Manager; provides advice when escalating production and employee relations issues to Production Manager for decision-making
· Review production orders and schedules to ensure goals are achieved, production schedules are attained, and downtime of equipment is minimized
· Monitor projected delivery dates to determine product availability and adjusts production schedules, as needed
· Review summary reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to minimize delay and prevent financial loss
· Coordinate all maintenance activities for production equipment to ensure machinery maintains efficient operations and continuously achieves all output objectives in a timely manner
· Assist in development of Standard Operations Procedures
· Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
Preference will be given to candidates who possess supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Minimum education requirements are a high school diploma or its equivalent
· Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience
Work Environment (Position / % of time per day or frequency):
Walking / 20%
Standing / 70%
Twisting, turning, and squatting / 10%
Lifting / Up to 50 lbs.
Pulling/Pushing / Up to 150lbs using pallet jack
Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.
