We are seeking a positive, safety-minded, and customer oriented Electrical Project Manager to join our team who will be the driving force behind project planning, engineering, purchasing, installation, and the administration processes for our Integrated Projects division.

Essential Responsibilities
- Maintain existing and develop new customer relationships to secure future business.
- Work with sales to give perspective on proposed projects.
- Work with Engineering to flesh out scopes of work.
- Work with Procurement to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of parts.
- Direct and supervise service technicians in a manner as to comply with the contracts executed by Modular Power & Data.
- Work with Project Coordinators to ensure the timely and accurate completion of submittals, O&M’s and all closing documentation.
- Manage assigned projects as economically as possible, including the creation of a financial forecast report monthly, while recognizing commitment to customer satisfaction, quality workmanship and positive industry image.
- Prepare, process and maintain all files, correspondence, schedules, reports, and billing necessary to perform the responsibilities of the contract.
- Direct the planning of the project through purchasing, engineering, subbing, installation, and close out.
- When necessary, work with a team during the bidding process.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience working as a project manager in the electrical industry.
- Strong knowledge of NEC standards and regulations.
- Ability to understand design/build requirements as well as the scope of the contract documents issued for the electrical work to be performed.
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the electrical industry.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and the coordination of manpower and resources.
- Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish the work.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to train, delegate, and coordinate with other team members.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This position occasionally operates on job-sites and may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, noise, and adverse weather conditions, possibly requiring closed toed shoes, as well as occasional use of a hard hat and eye protection.
- This position also operates in a professional construction office environment. This role routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers and fax machines.
- Employees are frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch or crawl.
- This position may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
