Job Description:
Module is looking for well-rounded construction team members who have a minimum of two years of experience in residential construction or modular manufacturing.
As a Construction Crew Member, you will report to our Project Foreman and Chief Product Officer, primarily working at Module’s indoor Last Mile Facility in Carnegie. Our working hours are Monday - Friday, from 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM. Candidates must be able to read and comprehend standard residential building plans. Additionally, this job will require learning a lot of new skills on the job, which we will provide the time and support to learn, in the effort to build a strong and diverse team.
Ideal candidates are interested in being cross-trained and developing skills in various aspects of the homebuilding process, but MUST possess experience in ONE or more of the following functions of residential home construction:
- Framing and Assembly
- Framing floors, walls, and ceilings
- Installing floors, walls and ceiling components using overhead cranes and rigging
- Drywall
- Hanging drywall
- Level 4 drywall finishing
- Painting
- Prep and Sand
- Prime and Paint
- Caulking
- Plumbing
- Rough Plumbing
- Finish Plumbing
- Conduct plumbing test per our our QA manual
- Electrical
- Rough Electric
- Electrical Trim
- Conduct electrical testing per our QA manual
- Flooring
- Install LVP flooring
- Roofing
- Underlayment, Shingles, Rolled Fiberglass Mineral Surface
- Penetrations, Vents
- HVAC
- Install ducting required for homes
- Install bath fans and energy recovery ventilators
- Prep for on-site finish
- Insulation
- Wall and Ceiling Insulation (batt)
- Exterior Insulation
- Finishing
- Install cabinets
- Install exterior door and window trim
- Install interior doors
- Install windows
- Perform detailed work, including painting, caulking, sanding, and sealing surfaces.
- Install trim, molding, cabinetry, fixtures, and other final components.
- Ensure surfaces and finishes are smooth, polished, and aesthetically pleasing.

Competitive Salary: We offer a salary package with full-time employment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity starting with a probationary period to evaluate team fit. Depending on experience and performance, a salary rate of $20.00 - $30.00/hr will be considered.
