JOB SUMMARY:
Concrete finishers make sure the concrete used on job sites is the desired pith, required form and depth.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Casting and spreading concrete to patch voids
· Finishing concrete surfaces with rough or smooth patterns depending on projects preference
· Removing edges on expansion joints and sides
· Placing forms that hold concrete to ensure the required depth and pitch is achieved
· Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Work Experience: 1 year of Concrete Finishing experience
Education: Highschool Diploma / GED or Equivalent
Related Experience:
· Proficient with hand and power tools
· Ability to read a tape measure
· Attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; keep up in a fast-paced environment
· Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
· Ability to stand for long periods of time
· Knowledge of hand-held and power tools including power vibrators, polishers, cutting saws, and edging tools.
