JOB SUMMARY:
As a Design Engineer Intern at Module X Solutions, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects that directly impact our products and processes. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to develop and refine designs, contribute to problem-solving initiatives, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in Design Development: Support the design and development of new products and components, from concept to production.
- CAD Modeling and Drafting: Create and modify 2D/3D CAD models and detailed drawings using software such as Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Prototyping and Testing: Assist in the fabrication and testing of prototypes to evaluate design concepts and performance.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and technical drawings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas for improving product design, manufacturing processes, and overall quality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Civil (structural), Industrial Design, or a related field.
Related Experience:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, AutoCAD). Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulation tools is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
