Entry Level Software Engineer

Essential Functions:

Successful candidates will work on and implement highly complex commercial and federal technology projects. Working with clients, they design, develop and deliver innovative technology solutions that drive performance and deliver measurable business value. Recognizing that technology provides the foundation upon which businesses execute, the selection and insertion of technology is strategic, as such, developed solutions will often integrate with enterprise-class information systems, such as ERP, CRM, and SCM systems.

Responsibilities:

·       Interfaces with clients and team members to develop requirements and specifications.

·       Codes and tests according to design specifications and solution architecture guidelines.

·       Utilizes skills in coding, testing, and implementing configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

·       Unit tests applications and develops system and user documentation.

·       Performs a challenging range and variety of complex technical or professional work activities.

·       Takes full accountability for own technical work and/or project responsibilities.

Requirements/Experience:

·       BA/BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics.

·       Experience with the technical development of Business Process Management System (BPMS) projects and/or enterprise software solutions.

·       1 years of experience with all aspects of a Software Development Life Cycle (design, development, testing, and deployment).

·       1 years of progressive development experience in a Java or .NET environment utilizing RDBMSs. Appian experience a plus

·       Excellent communication skills with internal teams as well as external customers. 

·       Must be a self-starter that can work towards a goal with limited direction or supervision.

·       Must be a US citizen and hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance
