Grades 9-12: Religion Teacher/Full-Time: Archbishop Moeller is an all-male, Catholic high school (grades 9-12) located in Cincinnati, OH. Founded by the Marianist order of Priests and Brothers, Moeller is a Catholic high school in the Marianist tradition. Moeller strives to educate all students, regardless of ability, in Mind, Body, and Spirit within a Community of Brothers. Moeller is nationally recognized for their House System and continues to be a leader in the integration of technology, celebrating over 20 years as a one-to-one tablet school. Moeller offers a comprehensive, college preparatory curriculum which includes over 30 Advanced Placement/College Credit Plus courses, as well as courses in visual and performing arts, world language, business, and information technology.

Moeller is seeking a full-time Religion Teacher to join our dynamic, dedicated, and collaborative faculty. Starting in August 2025, the successful candidate may teach departmental offerings from introductory to advanced levels.

Selected Duties

• Develop interactive, intellectually engaging lessons in alignment with curricular and student goals.
• Analyze assessment data to monitor teaching strategies in relation to student success. Collaborate and assist intervention specialists in providing differentiated instruction per students’ IEP/SP.
• Provide substantive and timely feedback to student and parents on academic progress via our LMS – MoeCampus.
• Integrate technological tools to support effective instruction in alignment with ISTE standards.
• Participate in departmental Professional Learning Communities and attend educational conferences/ workshops to maintain and improve content, pedagogical and/or technological knowledge.
• Collaborate with and participate in Campus Ministry programs.
• Serve as a mentor group teacher in our House System and co-lead an experiential learning opportunity during MoeTerm.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Theology or a Bachelor’s degree in another field plus a minimum of 30 semester hours of university theology coursework. Additionally, candidates must be Vocare certified (or be completing ongoing formation in Vocare prior to employment) through the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
• Candidates must be a practicing Catholic in good standing within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
• Candidates will have classroom teaching experience, be a lifelong learner, and possess a comprehensive understanding of best practices for educating adolescent boys.
• Ideal candidates will be dynamic, personable, energetic individuals who work well with high school students and their families and will be able to help foster the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional growth of each student. Compensation, Benefits and Hiring

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a robust benefits package including personal days, healthcare, dental, FSA, 401K option with employer contribution, paid lunch program, tuition remission for dependents, and graduate school tuition reimbursement. The position is full-time; contract is effective August 1 with orientation and onboarding in August.
