Description: The Moffat County District is looking for a motivated, caring, and enthusiastic person to fill a blended position that will be .5 FTE Gifted and Talented Education Teacher and .5 that includes other duties to be assigned based on qualification and need of the district.
SALARY: Placement on the Certified salary schedule is commensurate with education and teaching experience. $50,000-$116,845.
Education and/or Experience: Minimum requirement – Bachelor’s degree(B.A.) from an accredited four year college or university.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Eligible or already in possession of a Colorado Teaching License/certificate endorsed in Gifted and Talented.

Position Overview: The Gifted and Talented Education Teacher will collaborate closely with the District's Gifted Education Coordinator to design, implement, and oversee the Comprehensive Program Plan for the district. This position will support and enhance the district's Gifted and Talented program, ensuring the development and delivery of appropriate academic programming for students from Preschool through 12th graders.

Supervisory Responsibilities: The employee supervises students in the class, paraprofessional if assigned, and volunteers.
