- Coordination of all Cheer team practices and events
- Summer and/or off season programs
- Teaching fundamental and advanced skills
- Development of expectations and positive direction of the Football program
- Tracking of eligibility and academic progress of students
- Preparation of team for competition
- Must attend all meetings required and keep communication with parents, players, staff, media in good standing.
- Responsible for the general upkeep, protection, distribution, collection and inventory of all equipment.
- Is responsible for the appropriate use of school facilities and property.
- Follow school district, school and CHSAA regulations and policies
- Represents the school and school district at all times during interscholastic practices, meetings, and activities.
- Conducts their work within the framework of the goals of the school system, the Board of Education policies and procedures of the department of athletics within the designated school and sport/club they have been hired.
- Expected to follow all rules, protocols and procedures as outlined in the handbooks, school district policies and regulations, rules and expectations.
- Follow the guidelines of FERPA regarding student information and confidentiality.
- Coaches are a part of the MCSD team, they will represent and handle all issues professionally, confidentially and be transparent about any issues that arise.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous football coaching experience and/or knowledge or the fundamental and advanced skills of cheer.
- CPR/First Aid Certified
- Be willing to be part of a team environment
- Knowledge of all aspects of the Moffat County School District athletic/activity programming
- Proven leadership qualities and successful experience in working with high school students

Position: Craig Middle School is looking for an enthusiastic and team oriented candidate to fill a Head Cheer Coach position.
*Salary: $3,500 - $5,390, Salary commensurate with experience on our extracurricular pay scale
Responsibilities: The Head Coach reports to the Athletic Director.
Leadership is to be provided by the coach in the following areas:
