We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Director of Finance and Operations to join our team at Moffat County School District. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial and operational aspects of the district, ensuring efficiency and compliance with all regulations. This is a key leadership role that requires strong strategic planning and decision-making skills.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the district's goals and objectives
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
- Oversee the procurement and inventory management functions
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Lead the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures
- Manage the district's facilities and capital projects
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall organizational goals
- Supervise and mentor finance and operations staff
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proven track record of strategic planning and decision-making
- Experience in the education management industry is a plus
