Lead Engineer / Sr. Program Manager (Rail / Transit)

Moffatt & Nichol is seeking a Lead Engineer / Sr. Program Manager to join our growing rail group in Southern California. Qualified candidates will have experience that includes leading the planning, design, and preparation of construction drawings and contract documents for all types of rail and transit projects from planning through construction. They will have served as a lead engineer on rail and transit projects and have contacts with key clients such as Metrolink, LA Metro, OCTA, RCTC, SBCTA, SANDAG, NCTD, Caltrain, BART, BNSF, UPRR, California High-speed Rail (CAHSR) Authority, Brightline, Gold Line Authority, SGVCOG, and other local cities. Rail industry experience could include commuter, freight, light and heavy rail, as well as passenger stations, maintenance support facilities, rail yards, at-grade crossings, and grade separations.   We are looking for an individual with strong written and verbal communication skills, a proven ability to manage clients, lead programs and build teams.
