Summary
Business Transaction Analyst
Position Highlights:
- The Business Transformation Analyst will perform and/or review data to provide meaningful business insights, monitor performance, and provide recommendations / actions required to meet KPI and standards.
- The role primarily focuses on capacity management across provider departments, including the analysis, design, monitor & measuring, and improvement efforts for templates and resource groups.
- Additionally, this role will partner with Department Administrators, Clinic Operations, Providers, and Access Centers to make recommendations.
- Partner with Patient Access IT systems to maintain formal documents defining the build of provider templates, resource groups, and scheduling.
- In partnership with the Executive Director of Patient Journey Transformation, the Analysts will execute patient access initiatives aligned with Moffit Cancer Center strategies and key imperatives.
- The Analysts will foster a culture of empathy and service excellence, facilitating engagement across clinic leadership, capacity management, and IT teams
Responsibilities:
- Performs data Analysis that includes the review of data
- Utilizes analyzed data to provide meaningful business insights to improve business transactions.
- Analyzes Capacity Management and Business Transaction data
- Assists with the development, monitoring and measurement of organizations initiatives to improve capacity management efforts.
- Partners with various stakeholders, including Department Administrators, Clinic Operations, Providers, and IT teams.
- Maintains familiarity with IT systems, particularly Cerner, for maintaining and optimizing provider templates and scheduling algorithms.
- Manages multiple program/ projects that may include meeting facilitation, agenda management, and milestone tracking.
- Provides process improvement knowledge and skills that utilize reengineering and change management tools, concepts and techniques
- Develops and maintains effective communication that is tailored to different audiences at all levels to improve influential awareness and engagement of key stakeholders.
- Designs and implements workflows and technology to create and improve efficiencies and enhance the patient experience.
Credentials and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree: field of study – Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Informatics, Other Related Field (e.g. Information Systems)
- Minimum of three (3) years of related healthcare industry experience, with a vendor or consulting organization, or within a large provider-based delivery system
- Health Care Operations, with Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and Healthcare IT systems (e.g., Cerner).
