The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proficiency in mathematical calculations and various analysis techniques.
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Answer calls from a phone queue regarding patient account inquiries, payments, financial assistance, estimates, settlements, payment plans for both the hospital and physician billing.
- Attend peer review meetings and educational training to refine customer service skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
Credentials and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare setting with an emphasis in physician/hospital collections, insurance verification, and/or financial counseling.
- **Two (2) years Moffitt Revenue Cycle experience can be considered in lieu of three (3) years' experience.**
