Summary
As a PRN Interventional Radiologist of the Moffitt Medical Group (MMG), the member agrees to undertake clinical related activity, including the provision of coverage in the assigned department on an "as needed" basis, at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute Hospital (Magnolia & McKinley campus locations). The member agrees to comply fully with MMG policies and procedures and the Hospital's Medical Staff Bylaws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Other related duties as assigned by appropriate leadership.
The incumbent is Certified by the American Board of Radiology with a certificate of added qualification in vascular and interventional radiology. A radiologist who diagnoses and treats diseases by various radiological imaging modalities. These include fluoroscopy, digital radiography, computed tomography, sonography and magnetic resonance imaging. Performs image-guided procedures via various imaging modalities (CT, Ultrasound, fluoroscopy, etc.).
The incumbent practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center. As a Member of the Moffitt Medical Group, provides patient care and serves as a member of the academic medical enterprise.
Duties may include teaching of fellows and residents, organization and administration of educational activities, participation in journal clubs, case studies, departmental educational meetings, core lectures and fellows' multidisciplinary conferences.
Credential and Experience Requirements:

MD Medical Doctor (MD) Florida Medical License

Basic Life Support (BLS)

DEA License

Board Certification in Radiology with a certificate of added qualification in vascular and interventional radiology.

Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Completion of a Fellowship in Radiology

May be hired upon completion of an applicable Fellowship or Certification Program

Experience in Multi-disciplinary Academic Clinical Practice is preferred
