Summary
Are you interested in being a part of the Comparative Medicine Core Leadership Team at Moffitt Cancer Center? This is a fantastic opportunity to help build a new team for the existing facility and the new state-of-the-art facility from the ground up. The new Speros campus will have a 30,000 sqft Comparative Medicine state-of-the-art Facility, which will complement MCC's existing, fully accredited 28,000 sqft facility.
Position Highlights :
Moffitt is building a new Comparative Medicine Core (CMC) and is seeking an Assistant Director of Education and Quality Assurance. As a key member of the CMC team, the Assistant Director will develop and implement training programs, oversee audit and evaluation processes for compliance, and develop a post-approval monitoring program.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Will have excellent oral and written communication skills, combined with strong organizational abilities.
- Must have a solid understanding of applicable animal welfare guidelines and AAALAC standards.
- Experience working with external regulatory agencies and accreditation groups.
- Should have experience in designing, implementing and developing staff education and training programs for staff working in research.
