The Food Services Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining the Department's inventory, ordering, and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements. This position ensures that all dry goods and deliveries are properly unloaded, stocked, stored, and organized.
Essential Functions
Inventory Maintenance and Recordkeeping
Job Specific Duties
Ensures inventory levels are maintained to ensure day-to-day operations of all Center Food Service locations. Processes and enters orders for approval for all Center locations, as needed. Accurately records, tracks, and orders the appropriate amounts of inventory. Completes inventory audits. Ensures quality of food entering the Center, processes inventory returns to vendor for accounts credits. Accurately reports end-of-month inventory through proper system

Credentials And Qualifications
- High school Diploma/GED
- 3 years inventory control and ordering experience
- Basic computer skills necessary to complete inventory ordering, schedules, inventory reports and communications
- Basic understanding of inventory control procedures
- 5 years’ experience preferred
- Associate degree
- Intermediate computer and/or computerized inventory systems
