The Pinilla-Ibarz Lab at Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher with expertise in immunological assays to join our team. Our research focuses on understanding T cell dysfunction in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), with a particular interest in the metabolic aberrations that drive this dysfunction. We aim to reprogram these T cells to enhance their efficacy as CAR T cell therapy candidates for CLL.

- Previous experience in bioinformatics is a plus
- Design experiments
- Be up to date with relevant publications
- Present data at lab and department meetings
- MD or PhD in in Immunology, Cancer Biology, or a related biological field is required
- Should have at least one first Author publication.
- Hands-on experience with T-cell culture, immunological assays (e.g., flow cytometry, cytokine profiling, functional T cell assays), and basic molecular biology techniques including immunoblotting and PCR.
- Experience in laboratory mice handling and conducting mouse experiments
- Background in T cell metabolism, CAR T cell therapy and/or viral transduction is a plus
- Good writing skills through first-author publications, and proficiency in data analysis and presentation using computer software such as GraphPad Prism
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
