Summary
Position Highlights:
The Talent Advisor is responsible for creating a diverse pipeline of internal and external candidates for current and future positions within an assigned business unit. In partnership with the Supervisor, Talent Acquisition and / or Business Partner and Business Unit, the Talent Advisor will develop internships and / or externship opportunities and promote career ladders and opportunities for internal candidates. The Talent Advisor will also actively use sourcing tools and methods like on-line job boards, job fairs, community events and partnerships with universities and colleges to develop external candidate streams.
The Talent Advisor will proactively recruit candidates for open requisitions and will align them to appropriate job openings through assessing the candidate's resume and application.
The Talent Advisor is also responsible for full cycle recruiting to include meeting with the hiring manager to conduct a needs analysis, advising the hiring manager of methods and strategies that will be used to source talent, identifying, selecting and interviewing candidates, recommending candidates to hiring managers, negotiating offer letters and terms with candidates, and partnering with the HR Onboarding team to successfully hire the candidate at Moffitt Cancer Center.

The Ideal Candidate
- Demonstrated proactive approach towards sourcing and market research.
- Must have working knowledge of the principles/methods of recruiting and candidate screening and behavioral based interviewing.
- Must have effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal and problem‐solving skills, ability to research and gather market intelligence and manage multiple searches at any time. Knowledge of local, state and regulatory requirements related to areas of functional responsibility and HR is also necessary.
- Proficiency in MS Office, experience with applicant tracking and HRIS systems.

- Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize
- Ability to successfully negotiate and "close"
- Experience hiring physicians and/or advance practice practitioners is strongly preferred
- Source, evaluate and recommend potential candidates to fill current and future vacancies throughout the organization.
- Develop recruiting campaigns with an emphasis on "grassroots" recruiting and diversity recruiting to support business needs.
- Manage the entire recruitment life-cycle from identification of need through sourcing of talent and interviewing to closing / making an offer
- Partner with HR Onboarding to ensure the candidate successfully completes the pre-hire process.
- High School Diploma / GED AND a minimum of nine (9) years business experience with three (3) of those years in a full cycle recruiting role. Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum of five (5) years business experience with three (3) of those years in a full cycle recruiting role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management
- Human Resources Professional Certification-either SHRM CP or PHR or SPHR
- Five (5) years full cycle recruiting experience in sourcing and recruiting talent
