Financial Analyst – Strategic FP&A (EdTech SaaS)
Location: Remote (U.S.-based) or Hybrid from Tempe, AZ

A mission-driven EdTech company is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its Finance team and help drive strategic decisions through data, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role offers the opportunity to support high-growth SaaS operations, collaborate with senior leadership, and deliver the insights that move the business forward.
Ideal for someone with a strong foundation in finance and a passion for data storytelling, this is a highly visible, cross-functional role that blends analysis, metrics, and business intelligence to support long-term success in the K–12 learning space.
What You’ll Do:
- Own and deliver recurring financial reports and dashboards used by leadership for strategic decision-making
- Analyze ACV, customer acquisition, and SaaS performance metrics
- Support the forecasting and annual planning processes, with ongoing budget-to-actual variance analysis
- Conduct deep-dive quantitative and qualitative research to inform business priorities and product direction
- Contribute to board presentations and monthly performance reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Operations
- Support ad hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and special projects as requested by senior leadership
- Continuously refine models, tools, and reporting frameworks for scalability and accuracy
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- At least 2 years of financial analysis experience (preferably in SaaS, tech, or high-growth environments)
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large, complex data sets
- Strong business acumen and a passion for identifying actionable insights
- Financial modeling experience with attention to accuracy and storytelling
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and executive audiences
- Familiarity with PowerPoint, NetSuite, Salesforce, PowerBI, or Adaptive Insights is a plus
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to prioritize, adapt, and execute in a fast-paced, evolving environment
