This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components for the aviation and aerospace industries.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machining centers to ensure high-quality production.
- Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes to maintain efficiency.
- Conduct countersinking processes as required.
- Interpret and work from blueprint requirements to produce accurate components.
- Select appropriate tools, set feeds, and speeds for machining operations.
- Inspect machined parts using precision hand tools to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- Operate overhead cranes for the manufacturing of large parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and machines.
- Re-order tools and supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and lift up to 70 lbs as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC milling, CNC lathe/turning, or CNC Swiss operations.
- 4–6 years of experience preferred, with a strong emphasis on 4-axis milling.
- Experience with electromechanical parts and processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with controllers, machines, and processes.
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate overhead cranes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
