Job Purpose

Our key manufacturing client is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining, with a preference for 4-axis milling experience. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components for the aviation and aerospace industries.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers to ensure high-quality production.
• Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes to maintain efficiency.
• Conduct countersinking processes as required.
• Interpret and work from blueprint requirements to produce accurate components.
• Select appropriate tools, set feeds, and speeds for machining operations.
• Inspect machined parts using precision hand tools to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Operate overhead cranes for the manufacturing of large parts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and machines.
• Re-order tools and supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and lift up to 70 lbs as required.
  
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC milling, CNC lathe/turning, or CNC Swiss operations.
• 4–6 years of experience preferred, with a strong emphasis on 4-axis milling.
• Experience with electromechanical parts and processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with controllers, machines, and processes.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate overhead cranes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
