This role involves designing electrical components, modifying software, conducting machine installations, and mentoring the team to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement control systems (DCS, PLC, HMI, servo systems, motors, drives).
- Supervise and mentor control technicians, assign tasks, and review performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and process control issues on machinery.
- Develop and modify schematics, PLC, HMI, and servo controller programs.
- Lead machine installations and upgrades, ensuring vendor compliance.
- Integrate equipment into the plant network and manage data collection systems.
- Train staff on control systems and develop safety procedures for equipment.
- Oversee small capital projects and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1 years of experience in industrial controls.
- Proficiency in PLC, HMI, and servo programming.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, control systems software, and network integration.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, electrical standards, and equipment design.
