The Controls Engineer leads complex control system projects, supervises technicians, and provides technical expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting production equipment control systems. This role involves designing electrical components, modifying software, conducting machine installations, and mentoring the team to improve system performance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control systems (DCS, PLC, HMI, servo systems, motors, drives).
• Supervise and mentor control technicians, assign tasks, and review performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and process control issues on machinery.
• Develop and modify schematics, PLC, HMI, and servo controller programs.
• Lead machine installations and upgrades, ensuring vendor compliance.
• Integrate equipment into the plant network and manage data collection systems.
• Train staff on control systems and develop safety procedures for equipment.
• Oversee small capital projects and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1 years of experience in industrial controls.
• Proficiency in PLC, HMI, and servo programming.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, control systems software, and network integration.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, electrical standards, and equipment design.
