We are seeking a dedicated Reliability Engineer to ensure the performance, reliability, and compliance of Generac Clean Energy products. This role focuses on driving engineering excellence, overseeing design validation processes, and supporting product development through rigorous testing, analysis, and issue resolution.
Roles And Responsibilities -
- Lead design for reliability (DfR) reviews and provide guidance to meet high-performance standards.
- Develop and execute design verification and validation plans (DVP&Rs) for components and systems.
- Analyze operating environments and performance requirements to assess product reliability.
- Document findings and recommendations through detailed procedures and reports.
- Participate in risk assessments, FMEAs/DFMEAs, and design reviews, offering actionable insights.
- Ensure test plans meet all applicable standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE) and assist with test setups.
- Collaborate with product development teams to validate functionality during testing.
- Support root cause analysis and resolution of reliability test issues.
- Monitor reliability demonstration tests and report progress to leadership.
- Manage external resources, including labs and consultants, ensuring quality deliverables.
- Contribute to product development by aligning schedules, costs, and design inputs.
- Mentor and support less experienced engineers.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in reliability engineering or a similar role.
- Knowledge of reliability testing, DfR, and validation processes.
- Familiarity with industry standards (IEC, IEEE) and risk assessment tools (FMEA/DFMEA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage external resources and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and mentorship abilities.
