- Inspection & Calibration
- Conduct electrical and physical dimensional inspections and calibrations based on sample requests, validation protocols, work instructions, and customer-specific requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and accuracy verification of gauges, fixtures, optical comparators, and electronic metrology equipment.
- Assist in developing and implementing improved measurement techniques to enhance accuracy, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Measurement & Validation
- Perform first-piece inspections, start-up measurements, and validation of electronic and physical dimensional equipment submitted by customers.
- Conduct Gage R&R studies, correlation studies, and shrinkage analysis for both new and existing equipment to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Training & Technical Support
- Provide hands-on training and technical assistance to technicians on automated and manual measurement techniques, measuring machines, gauges, and fixtures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality objectives and improve communication between departments.
- Continuous Improvement & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including ISO standards, health and safety regulations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Actively participate in enhancing the quality management system to improve product quality and reduce operational costs.
- Metrology & Inspection Expertise: Strong background in measurement systems, precision inspection, and metrology techniques.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with optical gauging and precision measuring instruments.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement solutions.
- Training & Team Support: Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor, train, and foster a collaborative work environment.
