Key Responsibilities
- Design food processing equipment in Inventor 3D and draft related 2D layouts, piping diagrams, and process flows in AutoCAD.
- Define motor/device lists and specify components (mechanical, fluid, electrical).
- Interpret customer specs and internal standards to define project scope.
- Lead risk assessments and peer reviews.
- Monitor design timelines and drawing releases to avoid project delays.
- Support fabrication, installation, start-up, and commissioning, including travel to customer sites as needed.
- BS in Mechanical or Food Engineering.
- 4 years of CAD experience (3D modeling and drafting).
- Knowledge of DFM, mechanical sizing, and possibly FEA.
- Strong analytical skills; food industry experience a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP and piping design experience preferred.
- Must be open to occasional travel and overtime.
