We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to join our Sleep Disorder Center. The role involves performing comprehensive polysomnographic testing, analysis, patient care, and associated interventions for both adult and pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will also provide oversight and training to other staff as needed and may be required to work variable shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic services including CPAP, Bi-Level, ASV, MSLT, MWT, HST, and O2 titration.
- Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis for adult and pediatric patients.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding sleep study procedures and interventions.
- Ensure proper patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures and results.
- Provide training and oversight to other staff in the Sleep Disorder Center as needed.
- Adhere to established protocols and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- California Polysomnographic Technologist License upon hire.
- National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) certification or National Certified Polysomnographic Technician (BRPT) certification upon hire.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Completion of a basic training course in polysomnographic skills by a recognized school of sleep medicine.
- Completion of a medical terminology course.
- 1 year of experience in a Sleep Disorder Center.
- Background as a Sleep Technologist, Respiratory Therapist, or EEG Technologist.
Salary : $76,627 - $96,200
