What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dialysis Patient Care Technician position at Mohan Dialysis Center of Covina, Inc.?
SUMMARY OF BASIC JOB FUNCTION:
The Patient Care Technician provides direct patient care to Mohan Dialysis Center of Covina, Inc. patients.
The position we are hiring for is Monday, Wednesday, Friday (MWF) from 4:30am to 5:30pm. This position will also be the back up opener. A back up opener will open the clinic when the main opener is off.
Under the direction of the Staff Nurse and/or designee, performs a variety of technical procedures for dialysis and all other established tests and procedures within the guidelines of dialysis.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Graduate or equivalent;
- Completion of Certified Hemodialysis training program conducted at the facility or at another location;
- Certification by the State of California
- Current CPR card;
- Responsible for maintaining California State Certification by obtaining thirty (30) CEU’s for renewal every four (4) years;
