The Early College Office Technician plays a pivotal role in the admissions department, working under the supervision of the Recruitment Manager. This temporary part-time position (19.5 hours per week) focuses on K-12 admissions, document collection, concurrent and dual enrollment registration, and the evaluation of placement guidelines. The technician will guide and support the Early College Coordinators in assisting prospective students through the application process for Mohave Community College’s degree and certificate programs, serving as a liaison between the institution and applicants. The goal is to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all individuals pursuing enrollment. Individuals in this exempt position are expected to be available during normal business hours of the College and may occasionally be asked to work non-traditional hours, including holidays and weekends, as needed.

Minimum Qualification
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Two (2) years or more of experience in an office setting
Or
  • Any combination of education and experience that results in possession of skills, knowledge and behaviors as outlined in the position's core competencies below.
Preferred Qualification
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in a community college or higher education setting.
