Job Summary :
The Business Development Center Specialist is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to both the sales and service departments, while identifying opportunities for customers to upgrade their current vehicles. The role involves utilizing data mining systems, responding to inbound inquiries, generating outbound leads, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This position partners with the sales and service teams to drive customer retention and continue satisfaction within both departments. The Business Development Center Specialist combines customer service expertise with data-driven sales support, contributing to the overall success of both the sales and service departments.

Duties / Responsibilities :
- Complete outbound calls focused on lead generation for both new and used car marketing programs / campaigns.
- Identify customer wants and needs through appropriate questioning and set expectations for a seamless experience with the sales team.
- Respond to inbound leads via phone, text, and email, while tracking progress and meeting daily call quotas.
- Act as a liaison between service and sales, assisting customers in the service drive who are in a strong position to explore upgrade opportunities.
- Review service appointments using systems like CDK and Xtime to find prospects based on desired inventory, vehicle repairs, and repair costs.
- Utilize Mastermind to analyze the equity position of the customer base and identify sales opportunities.
- Engage with customers via phone, email, and text to present personalized offers based on market conditions and the customer’s vehicle position.
- Track all customer interactions, ensuring follow-up is consistent and prospects remain engaged if still in the market.
- Compile and report weekly and monthly totals, including commission sheets, to management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and be punctual, fostering a positive team environment.
- Collaborate with sales managers to achieve volume targets and customer satisfaction goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
