Location: Florence, AL Manufacturing Plant - In-Person Internship - May 19th - August 15th

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and updating Job Safety Analyses (JSA) to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Support document control efforts, ensuring safety documents, policies, and procedures are well-organized and up to date.
- Assist in reviewing and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Aerial Work Platforms (AWP).
- Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) audits, supporting assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Work closely with the safety team to identify opportunities for improving workplace safety and hazard prevention.
- Assist in compiling reports and presenting findings on safety assessments.
- Support safety training initiatives by preparing materials and assisting with training sessions.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize documents effectively.
- Interest in workplace safety, hazard assessments, and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the safety team.
