Job Summary:
The Vice President of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for leading corporate sponsorship strategy and revenue generation across Mohawk Valley Garden’s sports and entertainment properties in Upstate New York. This role will develop and execute integrated partnership opportunities utilizing a variety of assets, including in-venue signage, television and radio, digital, social media, web, ticketing, suites, events, and hospitality. Additionally, the VP will oversee the retention and growth of existing corporate partnerships, ensuring long-term value through strategic activation programs and mutually beneficial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, research, and secure new corporate partnerships across sports and entertainment properties in Upstate New York, conducting needs assessments to develop tailored sponsorship solutions.
- Develop and present high-impact proposals to corporate decision-makers.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to maximize cross-promotional initiatives and multi-property partnerships.
- Drive revenue growth by securing high-value sponsorships, with a strong focus on profitability and category exclusivity.
- Manage and enhance existing corporate relationships, identifying new revenue streams and value-added opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain detailed sales reports, tracking performance against revenue goals.
- Represent the organization at games, events, and industry functions to strengthen relationships with current and potential partners.
- Work closely with internal teams—including game operations, community relations, public relations, ticket sales, marketing, facility operations, and hospitality—to execute successful partnership activations.
- Other duties as assigned by executive leadership.

Qualifications:
- 6 years of corporate partnership sales experience in sports, entertainment, or venue management.
- Proven ability to develop and close high-value sponsorship deals using a consultative sales approach.
- Track record of exceeding revenue goals and driving organic growth in corporate sales.
- Strong understanding of sponsorship strategies, including digital and in-game activations across multiple properties.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with corporate clients and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Innovative, solutions-oriented mindset with strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
Education & Technical Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, sports management, business, or a related field preferred.
- Formal sales training and experience meeting or exceeding corporate sales goals preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Apple products.
- Experience leveraging data analytics in sponsorship sales and account management.
Expected Salary Range: $125,000-$175,000
