Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the healthcare team, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and promoting health restoration. Collaborating with Physicians and other multidisciplinary team members, our RNs establish personal rapport with patients and families, understanding their unique needs and plan of care throughout their experience.
Core Responsibilities:
- Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
- Promote patient independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patients, friends, and family to understand disease processes, medications, and self-care skills.
- Assure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited associate degree in nursing. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program or higher degree. One or more years of experience in a related setting.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse. Preferred: Basic Life Support Certification.
