Key Responsibilities
- Able to perform assessment data collection on all patients utilizing tools/forms in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Demonstrates ability to adequately assess and reassess pain, educating the patient and family regarding pain management.
- Demonstrates skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care to patients in the community setting.
- Consistently documents procedures completed in the EMR, including medications administered and follow-up assessments.
- Delivers medication utilizing the five rights and observes patient for desired/untoward effects.
- Maintains current knowledge of medications and their correct administration.
- Demonstrates knowledge of EKG or cardiac tracing.
- Establishes priorities of patient care based on needs and office resources.
