Core Job Responsibilities
- Perform assessment data collection on all patients utilizing tools/forms in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Demonstrate ability to assess and reassess pain, educate patients and families regarding pain management
- Deliver medication utilizing the five rights and observe patients for desired untoward effects
- Maintain current knowledge of medications and their correct administration
- Establish priorities of patient care based on needs and office resources
Education/Experience Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or nursing program
- Current New York State Professional Nursing Registration
- BLS Certification
