Job Description:
The Clinical Audiologist is a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with hearing and balance disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient case history and perform otoscopic examinations
- Interpret test results and develop diagnostic impressions
- Counsel patients and family members on the effects of hearing impairment and balance disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient's hearing and communication abilities
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
- Stay current with advances in audiology practice and technology
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Audiology or Communication Disorders
- New York State license in audiology or obtained within 12 months
- New York State registration as Hearing Aid Dispenser or obtained within 12 months
- Current BLS certification
