Job Summary
The Mohawk Valley Health System seeks a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Food Service Worker I. This role is responsible for assisting with meal assembly and delivery of meals and food products for hospital patients and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares food trays for patient delivery, ensuring that all necessary items are included.
- Communicates patient concerns with managers and clinical dietitians, including education needs and inadequate consumption.
- Completes all assigned tasks on the duty list checklist on a daily basis and reports any uncompleted tasks to the supervisor in a timely fashion.
- Follows floor stock sheets and par levels, reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Maintains cleanliness of unit coolers, adhering to established cleaning schedules.
Education/Experience Requirements
Preferred: Some related experience in healthcare.
