Job Summary
Join our dedicated team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Family Medicine Center, where you will provide essential care to patients of all age groups. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to meet the developmental needs of our patients, adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and data collection for all patients, under the guidance of an RN or provider.
- Evaluate and reassess patient pain levels, providing education to patients and families on effective pain management strategies.
- Monitor patients for any adverse changes in their condition and promptly inform the appropriate RN or provider.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications and ensure their proper administration.
- Engage with patients and families in a professional manner, involving them in educational discussions regarding their care.
- Properly clean and operate medical equipment.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and patient care efforts.
