Position Summary
This position is responsible for the cleaning and pick up of trash and debris in all assigned areas including but not limited to property garages, casino entrances, parking lots and exterior grounds.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes, but not limited to:
- Collects trash, debris pick up, and maintains the garages, casino entrances, smoking areas, stairwells
- Empties trash receptacles located in garages, entrances, and smoking areas
- Drives company vehicles to deliver supplies, equipment, garbage, and Team Members from various locations throughout property
- Assists in other cleaning duties for the casino and public areas, as directed by management
- Provides transportation for EVS Team Members and supplies to jobs assigned off the reservation as necessary
- Cleans and maintains company vehicles
- Provides inspection logs on company/department vehicles and trucks to management team for review
- Previous cleaning experience, including knowledge of equipment and supplies necessary
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to communicate effectively with patrons and supervisors
- Proper use of approved chemicals
- Knowledge of safe cleaning procedures and blood borne pathogens, bio-hazard waste procedures
- Completes EVS Training Module which includes the proper use of chemicals and safety procedures
- Knowledge of proper infection control and blood borne pathogens procedures and precautions
- Must be able to work in a casino environment with possible exposure to secondhand smoke, loud noises, and low lighting
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, bend and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work under variable temperature conditions
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
