Position Summary :
This position is responsible for processing all guest and patron reservations at the Pro Shop.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities : includes but not limited to :
Creates and processes Tee Times for all patrons
Coordinates Tee Times with the Starter
Assists customers and professional staff in golf shop merchandise sales
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities :
Handles incoming phone calls
Assists patrons in the Golf Pro Shop
Assists with tournament play, as needed
Minimum Education and Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent
One year of experience at a golf course
A working knowledge of the game of golf
A valid Driver’s License
Competencies : Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position :
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
Excellent customer service and telephone skills
Training Requirements :
Working knowledge of the JOANAS Golf Management System
Working knowledge of the rules and regulations of the game of golf
Physical Demands and Work Environment :
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
