Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal comfort, grooming, and hygiene as needed.
- Encourage independence while assisting with activities of daily living.
- Provide a safe environment by minimizing health and safety risks throughout the building.
- Administer special care as ordered by physicians, such as skin care and bathing techniques.
- Accompany residents to out-of-facility appointments and recreational activities.
Requirements:
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide experience.
- Familiarity with the culture and history of Stockbridge-Munsee Community.
