Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant to support our team in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with systems such as Quickbooks, word, excel. This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the organization.
Duties
- Answering incoming calls and directing them appropriatley
- Assist customers with parts order
- Assist in shipping and receiving as needed
- Assist Mechanics with in shop parts needs
- Operate forklifts as necessary for transporting materials within the facility, adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, scheduling, and correspondence as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in using word, excel, and Quickbooks
- Solid mechanical knowledge to understand equipment needs and maintenance requirements.
- Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in records.
- Experience in heavy equipment is a plus, enhancing understanding of parts and services.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely, with certification preferred but not required at hiring.
