CNC Manufacturing Engineer position at Mohr Talent is seeking a highly skilled individual to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for complex parts and assemblies. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with design, quality, and production teams to improve processes, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Create and optimize manufacturing processes to meet quality, scrap, and lead time goals.
- Develop and refine CNC programs for complex components, selecting appropriate tools, fixtures, and machine settings.
- Design and implement necessary fixtures and gages for the manufacturing process.
- Lead efforts to identify and solve production issues using root cause analysis and statistical methods.
- Ensure that manufacturing processes meet quality standards through effective quality control measures.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring on-time completion within budget.
- Work with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, timelines, and process improvements.
- Proficiency with CNC lathes, VMCs, and HMCs; experience with 3D CAM software (Esprit is a plus).
