Job Summary :
We are looking for a Millwork & Stucco Estimator to help plan projects and calculate costs. In this role, you will review project plans, work out material and labor costs, and team up with builders, architects, and internal teams to create competitive bids. This is a confidential position.
Key Responsibilities :
Go through project plans, blueprints, and specifications to figure out the costs for millwork and stucco work.
Calculate material quantities and break down costs for residential, multi-family, and commercial projects.
Collect and compare bids from suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best pricing.
Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and clients to improve estimates and find cost-saving options.
Assist in preparing proposals, responding to RFPs, and taking part in contract discussions.
Maintain records of cost data, past prices, and industry trends to help make better estimates.
Work with the sales and business development teams to uncover new project opportunities.
Make sure all estimates meet our standards and project requirements.
Qualifications :
3 years of experience in estimating millwork and / or stucco work for residential, multi-family, or commercial projects.
Strong understanding of the materials, labor, and methods used in millwork and stucco projects.
Experience with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, OST, or similar).
Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Experience working with builders, architects, and developers.
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications :
A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Experience with subcontractor estimating on medium to large projects.
