Job Title : Controller – Healthcare Industry (Long Term Care)

Location :  Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid – Onsite and Remote Flexibility After Training)

Compensation : $130,000 – $135,000 annually, with potential bonus eligibility

Employment Type : Full-time, Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily financial accounting operations, including financial reporting, accounts payable, and payroll services.

Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting packages, supporting internal and external audits.

Proactively develop and refine financial tools and reports to support strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with accounts receivable teams to optimize billing and cash management processes.

Ensure compliance with corporate income tax regulations, maintaining accurate and timely tax filings.

Lead monthly and annual financial closings, ensuring adherence to GAAP and organizational policies.

Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing insights to support financial goals and operational efficiencies.

Lead and mentor a team of five, fostering professional growth and departmental excellence.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience :

5 years in financial management, preferably in Long term care, retirement centers, or senior living industries.

Previous experience as a Controller , Senior Accountant , or Finance Manager strongly preferred.

Proficiency with Sage 100 or similar accounting systems is a plus.

Skills :

In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, tax compliance, and corporate accounting principles.

Strong ability to identify process improvements and implement solutions.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing teams.
