Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned locations, providing expert advice on HR policies and best practices.
- Oversee HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, leave management, workers' compensation, and benefits administration.
- Conduct I-9 audits and ensure accurate documentation per federal guidelines.
- Lead training programs for employees at all levels, including technical and leadership development.
- Administer payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- At least 7 years of HR experience, preferably in food manufacturing/production or a startup environment.
- 2 years of HR management experience overseeing multiple locations.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, payroll administration, and New Jersey labor laws.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
