The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of prescriptions, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with pharmacy-related administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accurately process and verify prescription orders in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Conduct prescription data entry and review for accuracy.
- Provide outstanding customer service via phone or digital communication, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintain records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to resolve issues related to prescriptions or insurance.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality.
