Principal Scientist – Dairy Innovation
Location: Battlefield, MO (Relocation Assistance Available)
Compensation: $100K–$120K 15% Bonus
Travel: 15–25% (1–2 times per quarter)
A leader in dairy and flavor innovation is seeking a Principal Scientist – Co-Drying & Dry Blending to drive new product development and ingredient solutions. This hands-on role is ideal for an expert in dairy flavors, cheese solutions, and seasonings, looking to shape the future of dairy-based products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead R&D in co-drying and dry blending for dairy, seasonings, and functional ingredients.
- Innovate in powder agglomeration and instantization to enhance product quality.
- Drive new product development from concept to commercialization.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop next-generation dairy solutions.
What You Bring:
- 8 years of R&D experience in food, dairy, or biological sciences.
- Expertise in co-drying, dry blending, and flavor development.
- Proven leadership experience (direct management or strong leadership skills).
- A track record of successful product commercialization.
