About the Role:
This is an impactful leadership position where you will be responsible for daily QA and food safety operations, ensuring compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards.
Manage lab operations and product testing to ensure adherence to quality protocols.
Oversee audits, inspections, and quality reporting to identify areas for improvement.
Address quality issues, manage CAPAs, and respond to complaints in a timely manner.
Train and develop the QA team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Monitor sanitation, pest control, and environmental programs to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field and 5 years of QA experience in food/beverage manufacturing. Additionally, you should have 1 year of management or leadership experience and knowledge of HACCP, FSMA, and food safety systems.
