Whether you have experience or strong interest in project development, originations, power marketing, legal, or M&A within the renewable energy space, this position could be your chance to have a real impact on the future.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Development : Collaborate with our team to find, evaluate, and develop renewable energy sites. Your work will involve selecting locations, negotiating land agreements, filing projects with utilities and grid operators, and guiding them through the necessary permitting processes.
Origination : Conduct market research and help source power purchase agreements (PPAs), establishing essential connections with potential energy buyers.
Power Marketing : Help market and sell the power generated by our projects. This means coordinating with utilities and corporations that want to purchase renewable energy.
Legal Support : Contribute to drafting and reviewing contracts related to our renewable energy transactions, either by providing your own insights or working with our legal team.
Mergers & Acquisitions : Assist in evaluating and executing the sale of projects or entire portfolios, as well as exploring partnerships and joint ventures with utilities or independent power producers.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, environmental studies, or a related field
An MBA or JD (preferred)
Genuine enthusiasm for clean energy and building a sustainable business
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Great communication skills and a team-focused mindset
A creative, entrepreneurial approach to work
Adaptability and willingness to take on a variety of tasks
