We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revenue Cycle Director to lead our critical access hospital's revenue cycle team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our billing systems to ensure accurate revenue collection and exceptional patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective billing systems to streamline claim processing and revenue collection
• Lead a team of revenue cycle professionals to achieve financial goals and improve patient satisfaction
• Analyze and resolve complex revenue cycle issues to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue cycle processes and improve financial performance

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, with a focus on hospitals (Method 2, Critical Access)
• Proven expertise in building and configuring billing systems to populate claim forms accurately
• In-depth knowledge of EHR software, preferably Epic, or a very close alternative
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex revenue cycle issues
• Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience starting new services in a hospital billing perspective
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in revenue cycle management
• Familiarity with healthcare-specific billing and coding systems
• Certification in revenue cycle management or a related field (e.g., CPC, CCS-P)
